1. Detroit Catholic Central (23-2 – Division 1)

Previous Ranking: #1
 
The Shamrocks end the season as the #1 team, but the separation in Division 1 is very small as they begin their quest for a 6th straight 6th straight Division 1 title. 

2. Hartland (21-1-3 – Division 1)
 

Previous Ranking: #2

The Eagles figure to be the biggest challenge standing in the way of the Shamrocks in D-1.

3. Howell (20-3-2 – Division 1) 

Previous Ranking: #3

The Highlanders make it 3 straight D-1 teams at the top, and another reason why D-1 seems to be tighter then ever come playoff time. 

4. Orchard Lake St. Mary’s (18-5-2 – Division 3)

Previous Ranking: #5

The Eaglets start the playoffs as the favorite in what could be a wild D-3 playoffs.

5. Flint Powers (20-4 – Division 2)

Previous Ranking: #4

The Chargers are the favorite in D-2, but much like the scenario in D-1, a few teams are right on their tail. 

6. Brother Rice (13-10-2 – Division 2) 

Previous Ranking: #7

Coach Kenny Chaput has the Warriors as a serious threat yet again in D-2, led by F Roman Villaire, and the goaltending of Jude Manly. 

7. Trenton (16-7-2 – Division 2)

Previous Ranking: #8

The Trojans make it 4 MIHL teams in our final top 25, and once again a favorite in D-2.

8. East Grand Rapids (19-4-1 – Division 3)

Previous Ranking: #9

The Pioneers won the inaugural OK conference championship, and look to take that final step in D-3 this year. 

9. Cranbrook (15-8-1 – Division 3)

Previous Ranking: #6

The defending D-3 Champs are poised for another long run for this historic program. 

10. Clarkston (14-10-1 – Division 1)

Previous Ranking: #10

The Wolves have won 4 of 5 as Coach Nathan Bryer continues to be one of the best coaches in the state.

11. Houghton (17-8 – Division 3)

Previous Ranking: #11

The Gremlins remain a serious contender in D-3, but their path back to USA Hockey Arena is quite tough in the D-3 ranks. 

12. Warren De La Salle (16-8 – Division 3)

Previous Ranking: #12

The Pilots are being led by Sr. Dylan Blackwood with 12 goals and 16 assists, but it was sophomore Connor Blackwood who scored perhaps the biggest goal of the year so far with the OT winner against Detroit Catholic Central. 

13. Byron Center (15-7-3 – Division 2)

Previous Ranking: #13

The Bulldogs are the defending D-2 champs, and will be a threat to anybody in the playoffs. 

14. Livonia Stevenson (14-7-2 – Division 2)

Previous Ranking: #14

The Spartans look for a return to USA Hockey Arena in the D-2 ranks. 

15. Brighton (13-10-2 – Division 1)

Previous Ranking: #18

The Bulldogs ended the season unbeaten in 6 at 5-0-1. 

16. Grandville (19-6 – Division 2)

Previous Ranking: #15

The Bulldogs fell in OT to East Grand Rapids in an instant classic at the OK Conference Championship game, but have shown they can play with anybody. 

17. Jeffers (21-4 – Division 3)

Previous Ranking: #16

The Jets were a great story this year putting up an impressive 21-4 record.

18. Caledonia (18-6-1 – Division 2)

Previous Ranking: #22

Junior Goaltender Sam Hoag had a fantastic season with a 1.52 Goals against average, and a .952 save percentage. 

19. Salem (13-12 – Division 1)

Previous Ranking: #24

The Rocks are another serious threat in D-1 winning 5 out of 6 down the stretch. 

20. Northville (13-11 – Division 1)

Previous Ranking: NR

The Mustangs finished the season with 3 straight wins, and newcomer Isaac Nelson had been outstanding with 15 points in 13 games.

21. Rochester United (18-6-1 – Division 2)

Previous Ranking: NR

RU ended the season with 7 straight wins, and Coach Tucker Penning has done a great job with this young squad.

22. Lakes Area United (21-4 – Division 1)

Previous Ranking: #25

After a 21-4 season, the secret is out: LAU will be a tough out for anybody in D-1.

23. Alpena (16-9 – Division 3)

Previous Ranking: NR

The Wildcats finished off a nice season with a 4-3 win over #17 Jeffers. 

24. Novi (15-10 – Division 1)

Previous Ranking: NR

The Wildcats end the season with a 3 game win streak, as Luke Londo led the way with 22 goals and 28 assists in 25 games.

25. Forest Hills Central (12-12 – Division 1)

Previous Ranking: NR

The Rangers look to make it back to USA Hockey Arena, and Gibby Grendel has led the way from the blueline with 10 goals and 21 assists.
