DETROIT, MI, June 30, 2025 — Lachlan Moffatt from Detroit Catholic Central High School has been named the State Champs! Sports Network Warrior Sports Lacrosse Player of the Year for the 2025 Boys Lacrosse Season. 

Moffatt, a senior attackman, delivered an extraordinary performance this season, scoring 91 goals and making 45 assists in 23 games and totaling an impressive 136 points while competing against the #1 strength of schedule in the state.

Graduating as the all-time leading scorer at Detroit Catholic Central, Moffatt finished his high school career with 262 goals, 145 assists, and 407 points. He also won the Michigan High School Lacrosse Coaches Association (MHSLCA) Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year, Detroit Free Press Player of the Year, and the National Interscholastic Lacrosse Coaches Association (NILCA) Player of the Year for the State of Michigan.

Lachlan will be attending and playing lacrosse at Villanova University this fall.
