The O Factor fuels the Lapeer Lightning. He thrives as the top field general in the Saginaw Valley. Now, he’s ready to bring his sizzling signal-caller heroics to another Valley.
As in the Grand Valley State Lakers
Lapeer star senior quarterback Zac Olejniczak committed to Grand Valley State last week in the midst of making a push to make it into the Mr. Football conversation. Olejniczak is a killer in and out of the pocket, using his, cannon of an arm, shifty feet and razor-sharp gridiron IQ, to shred opposing secondaries and give defensive coordinators all across the Saginaw Valley fits.
Lapeer’s slick 6-2, 185-pound QB1 chose GVSU over Wayne State, Davenport, Siena Heights and Lawrence Tech. He’s thrown for 1,056 yards and 10 touchdowns so far this season, while rushing in another four scores. GVSU nabbed Chippewa Valley senior signal caller Andrew Schuster for its’ ’24 recruiting crop last month before the Big Reds opened camp.
