On the heels of leading his squad to a state title, the Westside’s Killer Wolf, star Grand Rapids Catholic Central senior quarterback Connor Wolf, committed to play his college football at Hillsdale this week.
The 6-foot-4 gunslinger was a two-year starter under center and threw for 2,365 yards and 25 touchdowns, while rushing for another 10 scores in 2023. He took 3 trips into the end zone last month in GRCC’s 21-7 downing of Corunna in the D5 state championship game in downtown Detroit at Ford Field. Dayton and Missouri State were the other schools in hot pursuit of Wolf’s talent spinning the pigskin from the pocket.
This kid defines what it means to be a winner and a warrior play-in, play-out. Wolf threads needles and finds tight windows with the best in the state regardless of school size or college destination. He’s a high-IQ in the huddle cat with a tireless work ethic and the cannon of the arm to get the job done at every phase of the passing game. Bet on him making waves at Hillsdale in the near future.
