Hamilton Southeastern senior offensive lineman Styles Prescod (6-6, 285) has committed to Notre Dame. He’s the No. 4 ranked player in the IHSAA for its Class of ’24, No. 2 in the Indianapolis area. Prescod picked ND following a visit to South Bend earlier this month. More than two dozen Power 5 schools put offers on the table for Prescod, including Alabama, Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Missouri, Minnesota, Colorado, Indiana, Purdue, Iowa and Illinois.
Cream & Crimson Collection Campaign
Indiana University snared a trio of recent commitments from ace Circle City gridders;
Christian Peterson (Carmel 6-0, 180 CB)— The epitome of a ball hawk in the secondary and a big-play cover corner
Ade Ajani (Speedway 6-5, 275 OL)— Gritty, agile, great footwork, massive upside
Evan Lawrence (Danville 6-7, 275 OL)— Tough as nails, tireless in the trenches
Ready to ball out
Ball State came into Orioles Country this week and came away with a commitment from Zach Bandy (Avon 6-5, 280 OL). The Ivy League and Military Service Academies were hot on Bandy’s heels before he chose Ball State. Air Force, Army and Columbia all offered back in the spring.
