First Class Ticket To The Big Ten — MSU Football Grabs Inaugural In-State Recruit In OLSM LB White

“Go D.J. That’s my D.J.”
The Lil’ Wayne rap anthem rang loud and wide throughout the East Lansing area over the weekend with the commitment of Orchard Lake St. Mary’s junior linebacker Charles (D.J.) Michigan State University at an announcement ceremony in front of families and friends Saturday.
A 3-star prospect, White is new Spartans head coach Jonathan Smith’s first in-state pledge. He had whittled his list of scholarship offers to MSU, Boston College, Kansas and Purdue. White (6-3, 200) netted 76 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 forced fumble recoveries in the 2023 campaign. His Eaglets will be gunning for a return to the playoffs after a rare disappointing season last fall and OLSM finishing 3-6.
