The district finals have wrapped up, meaning only eight teams remain in all eight 11-man divisions. Of course, some of the best teams in the state have some of the best talent. Today, I’ll be going over four future college stars who impressed during Divisional Finals Friday.

T | Avery Gach | Birmingham Groves | Michigan Commit

I had the opportunity to watch Avery yesterday as he faced off against rival Seaholm.

Man- did he live up to expectations!

QB | Bryce Underwood | Belleville | LSU Commit

Bryce Underwood made Saline regret ever making the trip over. He’s already had one viral moment- an 87-yard bomb just has the half came to a close. At the end of the day, Bryce Underwood and the Belleville offense put up 42 against Saline’s 7.

I don’t need to list any bullet points to convince you of Bryce Underwood’s abilities. He’s got elite size, elite arm talent, elite athleticism, and great processing ability. There’s no question why he’s the #1 player in the country.

QB | Jake Morrow | Grand Blanc | Uncommitted

Jake Morrow is someone whose really come onto the scene over the past couple of weeks. Now, I’ve known about Jake for a couple of years now. A few years ago, he was a super young gunslinger with a host of accuracy and mechanical inconsistencies. Now, he’s leading a high-powered Grand Blanc passing offense that just exposed a usually-great Oxford defense.

Jake’s District Finals performance against Oxford should put him on the map more than he already is. This kid is accurate, can read a defense, and most importantly, rarely puts the ball in harms way. If you don’t know him already- you will soon! Check him out next week as Grand Blanc travels to face Rochester Adams in the Regional Finals

WR | Isaac Lee | Byron Center | Uncommitted

Isaac may just be West Michigan’s best-kept secret. Well, if Bryon Center makes it to Ford Field (which I think they will)- he won’t be a secret for much longer.

I’ve heard reports of Isaac having an excellent offensive game against Mona Shores. Earlier this season, Mona Shores did a good job at bottling him up and limiting opportunities. This time around, it seems that Isaac was able to make some plays. On top of this offensive performance, Isaac is always rock-solid on defense. As a DB, he’s great in run support, and well-repped in man-to-man coverage.

I truly hope that Isaac and Byron Center get to Ford Field this year. If that happens, his recruitment could skyrocket!
