The 2023-24 Michigan High School Hockey Player of the Year Award process:
To vote, you will need to provide your EMAIL ADDRESS. Select the candidate that you believe is having the best year in High School Hockey and cast your vote!! Your email address will need to be VERIFIED. If you want to vote more than once, please refresh your browser. Enter in your EMAIL ADDRESS again to cast another vote! Voting is limited to 100 votes every 7 days. Please allow up to an hour for your vote to be tallied into the poll’s vote count total. THE ONLINE VOTE WINNER IS AUTOMATICALLY IN THE FINAL 4 AND ACCOUNTS FOR 20% OF THE CRITERIA THAT WILL HELP DETERMINE THE 4 SEMI-FINALISTS!

The criteria that will be used to select the Hockey Player of the Year Award:
30% – Performance Throughout Season
20% – Level of Competition
20% – Online Vote
15% – Big Game Performance
10% – Team Success
5% – Highly Recruited Prospect.
Throughout the season, we will be updating player statistics and adding new candidates into the contest as their actual play and performance merits, with a goal of keeping the ten best players on the board. In mid-November we will close online voting and select our final four candidates. The final award selection and presentation will take place in December with all of our friends at Warrior Hockey!

Forward - Class of 2024: Mikey is a ball of dynamite. Incredible motor, competitor. An explosive player, with excellent edges, skills, and a great release. Forward - Class of 2024 - Froysland is one of a kind. Next level hockey IQ mixed with a love for working hard. It makes him one of the easiest and favorites to play with. Forward/Defense - Class of 2024 - Had almost 30 goals last year and is on same pace this year. I give high marks to a player who can put the numbers up that he does, against the schedule we play. Forward - Class of 2024 - Jackson is extremely skilled and deceptive. He has the ability to make a play out of nothing or find a passing lane that doesn’t appear to be there. Forward - Class of 2025 - Ron is a very dynamic player who can make a difference every time he in on the ice, both offensively and defensively.
