The letter P stands for playmaker in the Pydyn household and in Shamrocks Nation. It will be the same at West Point soon, too.

Jaden Pydyn, one of the most dynamic and elite two-sport athletes in the state, committed to Army this week to play both football and baseball.
Pydyn (6-1, 200) is a whirling dervish on the gridiron, doing damage at quarterback, running back and linebacker. On the baseball, he shreds the competition as an outfield prospect. Batting .423 as a sophomore in ’23, he was the second highest-rated uncommitted outfield recruit in the MHSAA prior to his pledge to West Point.
For Catholic Central’s football team last fall, Pydyn rushed for 1,205 yards and 21 touchdowns, threw two more and wrangled himself 46 tackles and 3 sacks on defense. The Shamrocks baseball club is 6-2 out of the gate this spring.
