Clarkston defeats Saline for second consecutive title

Detroit – Nolan Eriksen rushed for three touchdowns to lead Clarkston to a 33-25 victory over Saline in the Division 1 final at Ford Field on Saturday.

In last season's final Eriksen’s brother Ian scored three touchdowns in Clarkston’s 32-14 victory over Detroit Catholic Central.

Clarkston (14-0) has won 27 consecutive games, the state’s current longest winning streak.

Saline (12-2) was making its first state final appearance.
