Cassius Winston no longer considers U-M as one of his top schools

Detroit – U-D Jesuit senior Cassius Winston has narrowed his choices to three schools – Michigan State, Pittsburgh and Stanford. Michigan is no longer on his wish list.

Winston, a 6-1 guard who is the leading candidate for the 2016 Mr. Basketball award, made the announcement via twitter on Wednesday morning.

"My list of schools is now down to 3. Msu, Pitt, and Stanford (no order). Umich no longer an option," Winston tweeted.

Winston recently made an unofficial visit to Pitt.

A combo guard, Winston led the Cubs to the Class A semifinals each of the past two seasons.
