Get To Know: Milan 2015 power forward Nick Perkins

Milan High captured it's first basketball state title since 1948, with a 78-59 dismantling of Benton Harbor in March. Then junior point guard Latin Davis led the way with 34 points, but junior forward Nick Perkins was just as dominate, with 24 points and 10 rebounds. At 6-7, 235-pounds, Perkins is a handful for most defenders, and a bully on the block. Schools like Detroit, Akron, Buffalo, Cleveland State, Kent State and more are hoping to land his services at the college level. Perkins is one of the best players in the 2015 class in the state, and you can be sure that Milan will be back this season to defend their state title with him and Davis returning.
