With the Division 3 Football semifinals are ready to kick off this Saturday, here are some names to watch for as teams look to advance to Ford Field:

Evan Latham, WR – Divine Child

The duo of Theo Day and Latham played a big role in Divine Child’s Regional Final and the Falcons will need another big time performance from their go-to receiver on Saturday. If the Divine Child can pull off the upset of St. Mary’s, it’ll be with the help of the passing game and some key plays in the passing game from Latham.

LaDarius Jefferson, QB – Muskegon

While Kalil Pimpleton grabs the vast majority of attention from opposing defenses, and for good reason, Jefferson has quietly had a strong season all year long and has proven to be a rising star at the quarterback position. If Edwardsburg again focuses its attention on Pimpleton, like all of Muskegon’s previous opponents, that could give Jefferson an opportunity for a big time performance.

Caden Prieskorn, QB – Orchard Lake St. Mary’s

The St. Mary’s rushing attack has been unstoppable throughout the playoffs and could continue to have success against Divine Child on Saturday. But the difference in this game could be Prieskorn and the Eaglet passing attack. Look for the junior signal caller to come up with some big plays in the air on Saturday to help lead St. Mary’s back to Ford Field.

Nick Bradley – Edwardsburg

Bradley has rushed for close to 1,500 yards on the year, and the Eddies will need more success from their rushing attack in order to pull off what will be a massive upset on Saturday. Look for Bradley to find room in the running game to help Edwardsburg stay on the field for long periods of time, while trying to keep the Muskegon offense on the sidelines as much as possible.
