The Top 5 Quarterback-Wide Receiver Combinations remaining in the MHSAA Football Playoffs

Tyler Trovinger-Hunter Broersma (Muskegon Mona Shores)
Trovinger and Broersma have been in sync from day one this season. Trovinger has a number of stellar receiving targets with Kobe Burse and Darece Robinson, but Broersma, a Mr. Football candidate heading to Western Michigan and Trovinger have helped been instrumental in leading a Mona Shores offense that has totaled 381 points this season, heading into a second round showdown with rival Muskegon.

Tony Poljan-Tony Palmer (Lansing Catholic)
Probably the most underrated QB-WR connection in the state. Poljan has thrown for over 1,500 yards and 17 touchdowns so far this year, while Palmer has recorded 40 catches for 635 yards and seven touchdowns as the Cougars are preparing for a difficult second round matchup against Portland.

Kyle Thomas-Cody White (Walled Lake Western)
Thomas, one of the most dangerous dual-threat quarterbacks in the state of Michigan and a current Hungry Howie’s Mr. Football Candidate and White, a fast-rising wide receiver recruit who has a handful of offers from Power-5 conference teams. Thomas has thrown for over 1,800 yards and 21 touchdowns, while White has 682 yards receiving and seven touchdowns as the Warriors are set to face upset minded Birmingham Groves on Friday.

Rodney Hall-Donovan Peoples-Jones (Detroit Cass Tech)
Hall, a three year starter who has proven to be a dangerous signal caller and Peoples-Jones have been as good of a combination as there is in the passing game. Peoples-Jones is one of the best wide receivers in the junior class in the entire country and has been the go-to receiver for Hall, who has continued to improve since stepping in at quarterback as a sophomore.

Armani Posey-Donnie Corley (Detroit King)
Corley, one of the best wide receivers in the entire country and is also a Mr. Football Candidate, and Posey have continued to grow as a QB-WR combos in the state since Posey took over as the starting quarterback at King in week 4. In their most recent game against Detroit U-D Jesuit, Posey And Corley connected eight times for 130 yards and a touchdown.
