Cass Tech's Jaylen Kelly-Powell picks up offers from Alabama, AuburnFootball  |
Arguably the best defensive back in the state of Michigan, Cass Tech’s Jaylen Kelly-Powell has continued to pile up high level Division 1 offers, including offers from Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State.
But recently, the 4-star safety picked up two of his biggest offers from the recruiting process.
Kelly-Powell first picked up an offer from Alabama on July 19th and then on July 20th, received his second SEC offer in as many days as he landed an offer from Auburn. Kelly-Powell now holds a total of 43 offers so far as he prepares for his senior season with the Technicians.
One of the best defensive players that the state of Michigan has to offer over the last couple of years, Kelly-Powell also became a threat on the offensive side of the ball as well in his junior season for a Cass Tech team that advanced to the Division 1 state championship game in 2015.
With Kelly-Powell, along with Donovan Peoples-Jones, Donovan Johnson, Rodney Hall and several other difference makers on the Technicians’ roster in the 2016 season, Cass Tech should be one of the favorites in Division 1 once again this fall.
