Macomb Dakota football star Kaiser Carleton, one of the most elusive tailbacks in Metro Detroit, committed to Eastern Michigan University this week. This kid is lightning in a bottle: aka jackrabbit quick with home-run potential written all over his compact frame. He's versatile too (we're talking a "pick-your-poison" special here) - he can beat linebackers around the edge and mix it up with opposing lineman banging the ball in between the tackles

The 5-foot-9, 175-pound jitterbug of a rusher broke out big time last fall, posting 1,350 yards and 19 touchdowns in his junior campaign, leading the Cougars to league and district crowns. His efficiency is his best trait carrying the pigskin. Carleton averaged almost 8 yards per touch in 2015.

EMU is in rebuilding mode under Chris Creighton. The Eagles have only won three games in the past two years.
