Piloting To The Next Level - New York, New YorkFootball  |
Orange is the color. As in the Syracuse Orange. As in Syracuse, New York.
Warren De La Salle senior football star Allen Stritzinger committed to Syracuse this week. Stritzinger (6-foot-1, 185 pounds) is one of the top tailbacks and defensive backs in the state. He is a three-star recruit and sparked the De La Salle Pilots to their first ever state crown on the gridiron as a sophomore in 2014 when he rushed for 1,350 yards and 20 touchdowns. Last fall, he was hampered by injuries but is fully healthy now.
Word out of the ‘Cuse is that The Stritz will be playing on offense in the college ranks. Besides Syracuse, he had a dozen other offers, including power-conference bids coming from Michigan and Cincinnati.Tweet
