One of the state's biggest and best rivalries will be renewed on Saturday when Detroit King and Cass Tech square off. Here are four X-Factors to watch far when these two teams take the field:

Dequan Finn – Detroit King

Saturday’s game will without a doubt be the toughest test for Finn and the Detroit King offense and if King will continue its winning streak, the Crusaders will need a big game out of their signal caller. If King can find some big time plays between Finn and star receiver Ambry Thomas, King could push their winning streak to three over the Technicians.

Kalon Gervin – Detroit Cass Tech

Gervin will play a big role in whether or not King will be able to have any success in the passing game. Cass Tech has a star studded secondary, which includes Jaylen Kelly-Powell, Donovan Peoples-Jones and Donovan Johnson as well as Gervin. Gervin is the youngest of the four, but is about as talented of a defensive back as you will find in the state of Michigan and could make a significant impact on Saturday afternoon against a Detroit King offense that has scored 48.6 points per game so far this season.

Cepeda Phillips – Detroit King

One of the leaders of the Detroit King defense, Phillips will be relied upon to help limit the Cass Tech rushing attack as well as help take the middle of the field away in the passing game. The Technicians have a very balanced offense between its rushing attack, which features several capable running backs, as well as a quarterback in Rodney Hall who can beat teams with his feet and his arm.

DeAndre Square – Detroit Cass Tech

Capable of defending against the pass as well as the run game, Square could be asked to do quite a bit for the Technicians on Saturday afternoon. He has played both linebacker and safety and that type of versatility could play a big role for the Cass Tech defense if they want to slow down the King offense.
