Alex Malzone - 2014 Mr. Football Winner!

QB, Birmingham Brother Rice  | 6-2, 200,

Malzone is the only quarterback in school history to lead his team to a 14-0 record. A drop back passer, Malzone has a strong arm and has a tremendous understanding for the game. He’s at his best when the pressure is on. Malzone committed to Michigan. Malzone finished his high school career on Saturday by completing 23 of 40 attempts for 251 yards, three TDs and one interception in a 26-21 loss to Warren De La Salle. Malzone is 25-1 as a starter.

D.J. Zezula

QB, Clarkston  | 6-1, 195

Zezula is a three-year starter who led the Wolves to the school’s first football championship (Division 1) last season and Clarkston (12-0) is ranked No. 1 this season. Zezula is a dual threat quarterback and one of his best attributes is his leadership qualities. He’s big game player who’s not afraid to take on linebackers and safeties when his team needs that extra yard or two. In last week’s 40-22 victory over Walled Lake Central Zezula rushed for 104 yards and three TDs on 16 carries, and was 8-15 passing for 129 yards, one TD and no interceptions.
 

Mike Weber Jr. - Senior

Mike Weber Jr. - Senior

RB, Detroit Cass Tech  | 5-10, 190

A physical ball carrier with speed, Weber is comfortable running through tacklers or around them. He can run inside or outside and is an effective receiver out of the backfield. He’s a durable back with great vision. Weber committed to Michigan. Last week Weber set a school record by rushing for 404 yards to lead Cass Tech (12-0) to a 48-35 victory over Clinton Township Chippewa Valley. Weber had 33 carries and scored five TDs. He’s scored 28 TDs and rushed for 2,130 yards this season.

Tyree Jackson

QB - Muskegon Mona Shores  | Tyree Jackson, 6-5, 205

A four-year starter, Jackson started at quarterback as a freshman when he was 13-years-old. As a junior Jackson led Mona Shores to its first playoff appearance as he completed 60 percent of his passes for 2,181 yards and 28 TDs. He threw just six interceptions. Jackson committed to Buffalo. Last week Jackson was 21-30 passing for 313 yards and one TD, and rushed eight times for 93 yards and three TDs as Mona Shores (11-1) defeated Battle Creek Lakeview 39-0 in a Division 2 regional final.
