Birmingham Brother Rice  | 5-11, 205, Outfielder

A possible first-round draft pick in the upcoming Major League Baseball amateur draft, Plummer batted .573 with eight home runs and 34 RBI last season. He signed with Kentucky. This season through the regular season Plummer is batting .520 with 32 walks, 22 doubles, five triples, three home runs, 68 runs and 21 RBI. He has struck out eight times and walked 32 times.

Luke Shilling

Pontiac Notre Dame Prep  | 6-5, 255, Pitcher /1B/ DH

The starting catcher for three seasons, Shilling is one of the state’s top pitchers and perhaps the best hitter on his team. His fastball has been timed in the mid-90s. Shilling signed with Illinois. This season Shilling is 7-1 with a 0.70 ERA. In 49 2/3 innings he has 104 strikeouts and opponents are batting 0.73. At the plate Shilling is batting .400 with six home runs, eight doubles and 29 walks.

Eric Gilgenbach

Rochester Hills Stoney Creek  | 6-1, 195, Shortstop / Outfield / Pitcher

A four-year starter, Gilgenbach signed with Notre Dame. Gilgenbach also started on the basketball team the last three seasons. He batted .471 last season and he throws in the mid-80s. Heading into the tournament Gilgenbach is batting .402 with 10 doubles, 26 walks, 23 RBI, 24 runs and 14 stolen bases. His slugging percentage is .644.

Evan Kratt

Evan Kratt

Richmond  | 6-3, 180, Catcher

A first team (Division 2) all-state selection last season, Kratt batted .400 and led Richmond to the state finals. He’s been timed at 1.7 seconds from home to second. Kratt signed with Central Michigan. This season Kratt is batting .407 and has a .530 slugging percentage. He has 20 runs, five doubles, nine walks and he’s struck out just eight times in 75 plate appearances.
